Why: Owner Greg Christon was opening Streets Delicatessen & Market, Chapel Hill’s first authentic New York City Jewish-style deli, in the East 54 commercial development. One of the key markets for Greg’s new business was UNC’s student body, so naturally, he approached us for a student’s perspective as to how he could reach out to and connect with this critical audience.
How: In addition to planning and managing Streets’ digital media strategy across various social networks, we helped Streets conceive and execute numerous product designs and marketing campaigns that were designed to boost Streets’ popularity among the student population. Among these were an authentic NYC Sabrett hot dog stand to satisfy the late-night crowd and a sandwich creation contest to invite new customers.
